 How to make special fried rice 





🍚 Ingredients:

2 cups of cooked rice (best if it’s cold/leftover rice)

2 eggs

2 cloves garlic, finely chopped

3 shallots or ½ onion, sliced

1–2 green onions, chopped

½ cup mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn – optional)

½ cup chicken, shrimp, or beef (optional, for extra flavor)

2 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional, for richer taste)

1 tbsp sweet soy sauce (optional, for Indonesian style)

½ tsp salt

½ tsp pepper

Cooking oil




🥩 Garnishes (optional, to make it special):

Fried shallots

Cucumber and tomato slices

Prawn crackers or chips




🔥 How to cook:

1. Heat oil in a wok or large pan.


2. Sauté garlic and onion until fragrant.


3. Push to the side, then scramble the eggs until cooked.


4. Add chicken/shrimp/beef (if using) and stir-fry until done.


5. Add vegetables and stir-fry for 1–2 minutes.


6. Put in the rice, breaking up any clumps. Stir well.


7. Season with soy sauce, oyster sauce, sweet soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix evenly.


8. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.


9. Serve hot, topped with fried shallots and garnishes.




👉 Tip: Use high heat while stir-frying so the rice gets a smoky flavor (like restaurant-style fried rice).
